MTB’s new-generation Tunnel Series delivers continuous impact performance and superior efficiency under demanding conditions, thanks to a piston design specifically developed for tunnel construction and scaling applications.
The dust-sealed bushing structure and the special bushings manufactured from high-durability steel provide excellent resistance to impact and wear, significantly extending maintenance intervals. The Tunnel Series hydraulic breaker brackets feature a site-oriented, special design that enables safe and effective operation in horizontal positions. This integrated structure, reinforced with hydraulic cushioning, vibration buffer and long-type wearing plates, offers maximum housing durability, extended equipment life and stable operating performance in both vertical and horizontal positions.
The Tunnel Series provides higher efficiency and protection with optional features such as bronze bushings, automatic greasing, air ventilation, and water spray systems. Bronze bushings minimise tool wear thanks to their high-performance guiding function. The automatic greasing system reduces friction, preventing wear and overheating. The water spray system suppresses dust and improves visibility, while the air ventilation system minimises the ingress of abrasive particles.
With a total of 13 models produced in weight options ranging from 330 to 4,650 kg, suitable for carrier machines in the 4–65 ton class, the Tunnel Series stands among the most preferred breaker ranges in tunnel projects, offering high durability, low maintenance costs, and continuous impact performance.

(a) Approximately includes breaker, bracket, standard tip and hose weights; total weight may vary depending on the brand and model of the work machines.
(b) Actual impact frequency depends on the oil flow, oil viscosity, temperature and the material to be broken.
(c) Actual pressure depends on the oil flow, oil viscosity, temperature, material to be broken and the return pressure.
(d) Input power directly effects fuel consumption. Low input power (kW) requirement means low fuel consumption.
(e) Guaranteed sound power testing results according to directive 2000/14/EC (Guaranteed dB(A)=Measured Value +3 dB).
(f) If the carrier machine is out of the optimum range, ask the carrier machine manufacturer for allowed attachment weight.
